Malkangiri ,8th Aug 2025: An induction and welcome ceremony was organized for first-year students of Dr. Shyama Prasad Higher Secondary School, located in MV-79 under Kalimela block of Malkangiri district.
The event was chaired by Pradeepta Kumar Mishra, who welcomed the students to the academic session 2025–27, advising them to maintain discipline, punctuality, and engage in sincere hard work to excel in their studies.
During the program, Meghanath Behera, Hara, and Rabi Shankar Barik delivered welcome speeches and conducted the stage proceedings.
At the beginning of the event, a lamp-lighting ceremony was held before the idol of Lord Jagannath, and all the students were ceremonially welcomed with sandalwood paste and flowers.
On this occasion, Basant Kumar Bishwal, Lokanath Mahakud, and Purnachandra Mahapatra were present and extended their greetings to the students.
The school authorities expressed sincere gratitude to the Government of Odisha and the Government of India. Teacher Basant Kumar offered a vote of thanks to conclude the ceremony.
