Papadahandi , Dec, 19:The three-day MP Block-Level Sports Competition was inaugurated today at Jatabal High School, Ghugudipada Panchayat, Papadahandi Block. The event started with a ritual at Shree Shree Shiva Temple in Jatabal, followed by torch lighting and the ceremonial flag hoisting at the school’s sports ground. The guests of honor also lit the ceremonial lamp.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Member of Parliament Shri Balabhadra Majhi, District Council President Shri Motiram Nayak, Papadahandi Block President Smt. Hemalata, Vice President Shri Sushant Kumar Behera, Ministerial Representative Shri Lingaraj Bhatra, MP Representative Shri Somnath Pujari, MP Area Sports Coordinator Shri Rameshwar Jena, Community Development Officer Kapildeb Sahu, Committee Member Baidi Bhatra, Jatal Panchayat Sarpanch Malati Bhatra, Harimohan Sharma, Dinabandhu Bhui, Damodar Pradhan, BJP Papadahandi Mandal President Manoj Agrawal, Dangra Mandal President Krishna Rao, Maidan Midalpur Mandal President Purnachandra Bishoi, along with Haripranigrahi, Prashant Panigrahi, Jalendra Singh, G.P.O. Akshay Pattnayak, Jay Prashant Kumar Sahu, and all other Panchayat Officers of the Block.
All sports teachers of the block were present to organize the games. The event will continue for three days from the 13th to the 15th of December. A medical team and police department were present to ensure safety, and arrangements for food and water were made for all participants and attendees.
