Kotpad, 15th Sept 2025: The monthly meeting of the sarpanches of Sutipada Panchayat under Kotpad Block has been held. Today’s meeting was chaired by the sarpanch president, Deb Majhi.
In today’s meeting, the development of all panchayats in Kotpad Block and presentation of all government schemes to the panchayat residents were discussed. Ration cards and old-age pensions were distributed to eligible beneficiaries of all panchayats. Discussions were also held on how to improve road connectivity for villagers, provision of houses under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, and distribution of large quantities of urea to farmers to help overcome shortages.
There was a special focus on how to move forward and provide full assistance in these matters.
All government employees of the Kotpad Block office discussed at length how to maintain good understanding and cooperation with the sarpanches and prioritize their work.
Along with all these measures, the block sarpanches were wished unity and cooperation.
Finally, the sarpanch of Sutipada Panchayat, Sumitra Samarth, offered thanks and concluded the meeting with a cultural program.
