Nabarangpur, Feb, 14: Nabarangpur, under the gracious hands of Hon’ble Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, a total of 112 projects built at a cost of Rs 67.96 crore were inaugurated, and foundation stones were laid for various upcoming projects worth Rs 378.29 crore.
For many years, there had been a demand to establish a medical college in Nabarangpur. Fulfilling this demand was also one of our election promises when our government came to power. Today, the Hon’ble Chief Minister has fulfilled that long-standing demand. The foundation stone of a medical college has been laid today in Nabarangpur, creating a wave of happiness across the entire district. I extend my greetings and congratulations to the people of Nabarangpur on this occasion.
The double-engine government is giving equal importance to culture along with development. The launch of the “Shree Jagannath Darshan Yojana” is a highly welcome step to bring the sacred tradition of Mahaprabhu Jagannath and Odisha’s spiritual heritage closer to the people. Through this scheme, devotees will be able to travel free of cost to Puri for darshan of Lord Jagannath and also receive Mahaprasad.
