Nabarangpur,Dec, 05: A Model Youth Gram Sabha was organized at the Eklavya Model Residential School located in Hirli under Nabarangpur district.
Shri Hitesh Kumar Verma, Chairman of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Nabarangpur, attended the program as the Chief Guest, while Smt. Subhashini Sahu, Chairperson of Eklavya Model Residential School, presided over the meeting. Shri Jayaprakash Sahu attended as the Guest of Honour.
The school’s Social Science teacher, Shri Sriram Shastri, explained the main objectives of the Gram Sabha and various people-oriented government schemes to everyone. Students of the school performed acts to illustrate the functioning and purpose of a Gram Sabha.
As judges, Rajendra Kumar Singh Yadav, Social Science Teacher, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Nabarangpur, and Vidyadhar Dishari, Social Science Teacher, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Hirli, were present.
This was the first time that such a program was organized through the efforts of the school chairperson, Smt. Subhashini Sahu. The students enthusiastically presented the Gram Sabha session. All teachers and staff of the school cooperated and contributed to the success of the event.
