Mock Drill Conducted to Test Defense Preparedness and Emergency Response

Bhubaneswar: Air attack siren to sound tomorrow.  All states and Union Territories will conduct the defense preparedness drill.  The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued instructions for the mock drill.  The mock drill will be conducted in 244 identified civil defense districts across the country.  Information issued regarding mock drills to be held at 12 locations in Odisha.  The Ministry of Home Affairs has sent letters to the Chief Secretaries of all states. The mock drill will focus on steps to be taken during wartime situations.
