MLAs Go Digital: Paperwork Replaced by Tablets in Legislative Sessions

Bhubaneswar: MLAs are set to go smart.  In the Odisha Legislative Assembly, MLAs will no longer rely on paper; instead, they will read from tablets. This arrangement has been made by the Assembly Secretariat. Tablets have been installed in front of the seats of all 147 MLAs.

The third session of the 17th Legislative Assembly will commence on February 13 and continue in two phases until April 5. The first phase will run from February 13 to February 21, while the second phase will be held from March 7 to April 5.

The state budget will be presented on February 17.

During the Assembly session, traffic restrictions will be enforced by the Commissionerate Police on roads surrounding the Assembly to ensure smooth vehicular movement and maintain security.
