MLAs and MPs Granted Increased Powers to Recommend Government Transfers

Bhubaneswar:  Increased Transfer Recommendation Powers  MLAs and MPs have been granted recommendation powers They can recommend transfers of teachers  Up to 15 teachers can be recommended for   transfer Recommendations can be made only if teachers are absolutely necessaryRecommendations cannot be made for transfers from rural to urban areas Rules will apply for transfers within the same district MPs can recommend transfers to other blocks within their parliamentary constituency
