Malkangiri.8th Aug 2025: Malkangiri MLA Narsingha Madkami visited the border regions of Motu and MV-79 in the district, reviewed various problems faced by the people, and discussed possible solutions.
According to sources, during his visit to these regions, the MLA interacted with local residents and discussed several issues such as:
- Flood-like situation due to continuous rainfall
- Electricity and network connectivity problems
- Road conditions
- Issues faced by farmers in availing Mandi (procurement) cards
He assured that necessary steps would be taken to ensure farmers in all villages receive Mandi card benefits without facing any difficulties and that any issues arising will be promptly addressed.
In MV-79, he also held a meeting with all BJP workers of the area to gather feedback and understand the grassroots-level problems. The MLA gave importance to the poor condition of the road leading from MV-79 to the Medical area and the ongoing construction of the Journalists’ Association Building.
Other concerns raised during the meeting included:
- Internet and network failures during power cuts
- Non-functional group toilets despite being constructed
