MLA Reviews Development Projects in Border Panchayats, Hears Public Grievances

Nandapur, 23rd Aug 2025: Patangi MLA Ramachandra Kadam visited Panthlung and Golur panchayats along the Andhra border under Nandapur block on Wednesday. He conducted a review of various government schemes being implemented in these panchayats.

The review meeting at Panthlung Panchayat Office began at 11 a.m., where local representatives including Puja Khul (Sarpanch), Sabitri Khemundu (Samiti Member), Assistant Executive Engineer Jash Ketan Behera, Medical Officer Dubaraj Murmu, CDPO Meenatibala Pattnayak, Assistant Education Officer Mamataz Gamang, along with officers from other line departments, were present.

Villagers, intellectuals, and ward members submitted to the MLA a memorandum containing 15 group-related and 3 individual issues. Kadam assured them that these matters would be discussed with block, district, and state-level authorities for resolution.

At 3 p.m., the MLA,y accompanied by all officials, reached the Golur Panchayat Office and reviewed development works there. Sabitri Burudi (Naib Sarpanch & Acting Sarpanch), Samiti Member Laxmi Matam, ward members, and local intellectuals submitted a memorandum listing more than 20 issues, which the MLA promised would be addressed in due course.

During his visit to both panchayats, notable attendees included Debendra Khemundu (Block Congress President), Kamesh Kamudi (MLA’s representative), Nilambar Hansa, and Biranchi Matam, among others.
