MLA Reviews 13 Years of Development Work in Palia

Jharsiguda, 13th Aug 2025:  Jharsiguda MLA Narsingh Bhattarai visited Palia Panchayat under his constituency to review ongoing development works.

He first reached Badala village, inspecting the Badani Hatapada, Hatapada, and Ashram School roads. At the Ashram School, he met the headmaster, assistant teachers, and school management committee to discuss various school-related issues. He also joined students for their midday meal before proceeding towards Beljhuri, Tumarapadar, and Diutuguda villages, assessing the condition of the Beljhuri–Digaduguda road and interacting with locals about their problems.

Returning from there, he visited the family of Khagapati Pujari of Sanaramsa village, who had died in a bike accident, and expressed condolences while inquiring about their issues.

Later, he toured Kurunga Beta village, inspecting the Kurunganeda–Badhajodi road. He also met the family of late Chaitra Majhi, who died in a road accident in Tamil Nadu while working as a migrant laborer, offering sympathy and promising early resolution of their problems.

The MLA assured villagers that necessary steps would be taken quickly to address local grievances.

During his visit, he was accompanied by MP representative Chandrabhanu Nayak, BDO Madhusudan Majhi, former Dhotra block president Maniram Majhi, Chana block president Krushnachandra Majhi, AMC chairman, general secretary Pratap Huria, ST Morcha leader Chitra Prasad Tiwari, Jharsiguda Mandal Yuva Morcha president Giri Pandey, and Badhuaguda Panchayat president Pustam Gond, among others.
