Jharigaon, 22nd Sept 2025: The second annual general meeting of Chitrangi Mission Shakti Women Maize Producers Company Limited, Jharigaon, was organized at the company’s warehouse in Jharigaon.
The event was graced by several dignitaries:
- Chief Guest: District Agriculture Officer, Mr. Nihar Nayak
- Keynote Speaker: Senior Scientist Mr. Shashank Lenka from Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Umarkote
- Guest of Honour: Group Agriculture Officer Mrs. Sunita Singh,
- Assistant Horticulture Officer: Mr. Lincoln Meher
- Integrated Child Development Project Officer: Mrs. Biraja Mohini Pangi
- Mission Shakti Block Coordinator: Mr. Jayanta Kumar Rath
- Block Livelihood Mission Coordinator: Mr. Ramesh Chandra Tadinga
- Zilla Parishad Member, Jharigaon Zone-1: Mrs. Yamuna Ganda

Director: Mrs. Kaveri Santa, along with 10 other directors, company officials, and members of 20 maize producer groups, were present.
As of now, a total of 1,024 women members have been associated with the company. Among them, ₹500/- share capital has been collected from 639 members.
Company Activities for FY 2024–25:
The CEO presented the various business activities carried out by the company, including:
Total maize sales
Sale of maize seeds
Sale of agricultural inputs (fertilizers, pesticides, farm machinery)
Soil testing and sample report distribution
Additionally, the plan for the financial year 2025–26 was also discussed.
