Raighar,Jan, 09: The foundation stone for the construction of a Kalyan Mandap (Community Hall) was laid near the local Jagannath Temple by the Minister of Education, Nityananda Ganda. During the event, Minister Ganda highlighted that the project is being funded with a total of ₹1.14 crore, including ₹50 lakh from the Chief Minister’s special fund and ₹64 lakh from the “Developed Villages, Developed Odisha” initiative. The information was shared by Member of Parliament (MP) Preeti Snigdha Mahapatra.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including MPs Balabhadra Majhi and Santosh Mahapatra, Sibanath Banerjee, Sarat Jena, Gauntia Kamal Singh Rajput, Manohar Dandasen, Shyamalal Kalara, Purnachandra Ganda, Bishwanath Sil, Tiru Patra, Tukuni Samantara, Basanta Dangari, Jagannath Temple Committee President Sahadev Ganda, and local Tahsildar Ritu Singh, along with senior BJP officials and other prominent figures.
