Raighar,Jan, 15: Education Minister Nityananda Gond laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Kalyan Mandap (community hall) near the local Jagannath Temple in Raighar.
On the initiative of Minister Gond, a total amount of ₹1 crore 14 lakh has been sanctioned for the project — ₹50 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Special Fund and ₹64 lakh from the “Developed Village, Developed Odisha” Fund, informed MP’s representative Preeti Snigdha Mahapatra.
Several dignitaries and local leaders were present at the programme, including MP Balabhadra Majhi, Santosh Mahapatra, Sibanath Banerjee, Sarat Jena, Gauntia Kamal Singh Rajput, Manohar Dandasena, Shyamlal Kallar, Purnachandra Gond, Biswanath Sil, Tiru Patra, Tukuni Samantara, Basanta Dangari, Jagannath Temple Committee President Sahadev Gond, local Tahsildar Ritu Singh, and many senior BJP leaders.
