Raighar,Jan, 07: Education Minister Nityanand Gond laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Kalyan Mandap near the local Jagannath Temple. At the initiative of Minister Shri Gond, funds amounting to ₹50 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Special Fund and ₹64 lakh from the “Developed Village, Developed Odisha” fund—totalling ₹1 crore 14 lakh—have been sanctioned for the project, informed MP’s representative Preeti Snigdha Mahapatra.
The programme was attended by MP Balabhadra Majhi, Santosh Mahapatra, Sibanath Banerjee, Sarat Jena, Gauntia Kamal Singh Rajput, Manohar Dandasena, Shyamlal Kallar, Purnachandra Gond, Biswanath Sil, Tiru Patra, Tukuni Samantara, Basanta Dangari, Jagannath Temple Committee President Sahadev Gond, local Tahsildar Ritu Singh, along with senior BJP functionaries and other dignitaries.
