Rasulpur,Jan, 07: On Saturday evening, the 10th night of the Kuakhua Festival witnessed a cultural programme presented by a renowned melody group from Cuttack. The audience was enthralled by the magical music of the group’s famous Sambalpuri singer, Pratham Kumbh. Swaying to the rhythm of the soulful songs, spectators could be seen dancing with joy.
Along with him, the performances by other singers of the melody group were of a very high standard. The attractive dances performed by the dancers kept the audience spellbound. Encouraged by the applause and cheers from the crowd, the artists delivered energetic musical and dance performances.
As on other days, a large crowd gathered near the cultural stage on the 10th evening of the Kuakhua Festival. To manage the crowd, extensive arrangements were made by the festival committee members, volunteers of social organizations, and the Kuakhua Police.
The smooth conduct of the programme was supported by Committee General Secretary Arun Sahu, Secretary Santosh Raut, Vice President Maheswar Sahu, Cultural Secretary Umesh Nayak, Treasurer Umesh Palei, along with Dilip Das, Prashant Parida, Shashank Shekhar Raut, and Gadadhar Das, among others.
