Keonjhar., 12th Nov 2025: The Badakajhara United Action Committee has submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister seeking solutions to various basic problems in TenuLapashi Panchayat under Harichandanpur Block.
The memorandum was received by Himansu Sahu, the Chief Officer of the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell in Keonjhar.
The Badakajhara United Action Committee, which has been consistently working to resolve irrigation-related problems, has raised several demands in its memorandum — including:
- Renovation and improvement of the Banabira check dam near Masinabila village,
- Construction of a pucca (paved) road connecting Dhanurjaypur village,
- A paved road connecting Badakamandra Juang Sahi, and
- Development and restoration of the ancient monastery-temple in the area.
It is noteworthy that, if the Banabira check dam is renovated, the farmers of Masinabila, Dhanugura, Khuntapada, Khudpashi, and TenuLapashi villages will greatly benefit. Similarly, if the road connectivity issues are resolved, the people of both villages will have much-improved accessibility and convenience.
The development of the ancient monastery-temple will further promote a spiritual environment among the local people.
As the Chief Minister — a proud son of Keonjhar soil — is always attentive to resolving people’s issues, the committee members expressed confidence that their demands will be addressed and resolved soon.
The memorandum was submitted by Trilochan Nayak, Convener of the Badakajhara United Action Committee, along with other members, who remain hopeful for a positive outcome.
