Kotpad, 20th Nov 2025: A preparatory meeting for the celebration of the NCC-level festival was held at the Kotpad SSC Parishad hall. The meeting was organized under the chairmanship of NCC President Shankar Ra.
It was decided to celebrate the festival from 26th to 28th of the month. On the first day, the festival will begin with a torchlight procession along with sports competitions. On the second day, there will be competitions in speeches, essays, and quizzes. On the final day, all cultural competitions will be held, and the NCC-level achievers will be awarded.
The executive officer Kamalesh Mahant requested that the participants be encouraged not only at the NCC level but also at the district level to achieve success.
The meeting was attended by NCC Vice-President M. Santoshi, all council members, Press Club President Pankaj Kumar Patra, Bharat Media President Ajay Mishra, representatives of MPs Pradeep Rath, Chandrasekhar Das, Pratap Mantri, Jayant Patnaik, Hemant Patra, and the editor of the local newspaper. The meeting was hosted by Sitanath Bishwal, Keshab Sasmal, engineer Sudhir Nandi, Rajesh Das, audit inspector Prashant Kochim, along with all staff members, teachers of various schools, and members of voluntary organizations who gave their suggestions.
Finally, chief coordinator Gopii Majhi offered a vote of thanks.
