Nabarangpur, Jan, 16: A meeting was held at Chikili village under Nabarangpur Block to protect religion and cow protection (Gomata). On this occasion, Brahma Avadhoot Dambaru Baba and Balaram Baba inaugurated the meeting with prayers and appeals for world welfare.
As guests, Suryabanshi Jayanta Patra, National President of the Hindu Mahasangh, and Karvik Das, a member of the Central Advisory Committee, attended the meeting and expressed serious concern over the increasing cattle smuggling in Nabarangpur district.
The meeting was conducted by Gopal Pujari. Kusia Majhi, Ram Bhatra, and many cow devotees and religious protectors from different parts of Nabarangpur block were also present.
It was decided to organize a district-level programme in the coming days by the Mahima Samaj to address this issue and strengthen cow protection activities.
