Mayor Pays Surprise Visit to Aahar Centre, Reviews Food Quality

Cuttack, 20th Oct 2025:  Due to the 36-hour curfew imposed by the police administration in the brotherhood city of Cuttack, many passengers arriving from outside the state were stranded at Cuttack’s Netaji Bus Terminal. With all shops and markets in the city closed, the stranded travelers were facing significant difficulties.

Upon learning about the situation, Mayor Shri Singh visited the Aahar Centre located near the Netaji Bus Terminal and SCB Medical College to inspect the availability and quantity of food being served.

Thanks to the efforts and initiative of Mayor Shri Singh, the stranded passengers were able to receive adequate meals. He instructed the officials present to ensure sufficient stock of food is maintained at the Aahar Centre.

On this occasion, Debendra Panigrahi and other officials were also present along with the Mayor.
