Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education Department of Odisha announced a reshuffle involving officials at the level of District Education Officer (DEO) and Additional District Education Officer (ADEO). According to the departmental notification, five DEOs and nine ADEOs have been transferred to new postings.
Former ADEO of Jajpur, Nibedita Pani, has been appointed as Joint Director at the Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE).
Current DEO of Cuttack, Santosh Kumar Raut, has been transferred as Joint Director of OSEPA (Odisha School Education Programme Authority).
Pabitra Mohan Barik, who was serving as Deputy Secretary of the Council of Higher Secondary Education (Southern Region) in Berhampur, has now been appointed DEO of Kendrapada.
Basanta Kumar Nayak, the previous DEO of Kendrapada, has been transferred to Balasore as DEO.
Prachi Tanaya Giri, DEO of Balasore, and Tanmay Kumar Behera, ADEO of Nabarangpur, have both been posted as Joint Directors of OSEPA.Nityananda Barik, DEO of Jajpur, is now posted as DEO of Cuttack.
Maheswar Sahu, Joint Director at OSEPA, has been made DEO of Jajpur.

Jagabandhu Sahu (ADEO, Jajpur) → Bhadrak ADEO
These transfers are part of routine administrative reshuffling aimed at improving the efficiency and reach of the education system across the state.
