Jeypore: In everyday life, patients frequently require blood transfusions, whether at the district hospital or outside the district. Whenever such a need arises, people immediately reach out to Manohar Tripathi of Jeypore. With unwavering dedication, Manohar makes every effort to arrange blood for patients. So far, he has successfully provided blood for over 8,000 patients.

Residing near Panchanan Temple Square in Jeypore, Manohar has been actively engaged in blood donation services since 2017. In the beginning, he faced several challenges in arranging blood for those in need. Gradually, he created a WhatsApp group to raise awareness about blood donation and encourage people to contribute. His efforts, coupled with media outreach, inspired many donors to come forward and assist helpless patients. Since then, he has never looked back.

At the district hospital, whenever a rural patient requires blood, Manohar promptly checks the bed number and doctor’s report before arranging for blood. His efforts extend beyond Jeypore; he has also assisted patients receiving treatment in Koraput, Bhubaneswar, and Cuttack. He dedicates his time and resources selflessly, never accepting any monetary compensation. Instead, he focuses on educating and motivating blood donors to contribute voluntarily.

Manohar has received widespread appreciation for his noble work. However, for him, the greatest reward is the satisfaction of saving a life. “The sense of fulfillment I get after arranging blood and saving a patient’s life is beyond words,” says Manohar Tripathi. He always gives full credit to the blood donors and remains committed to continuing his lifesaving mission in the future.
