Mangal Division Hosts Heartfelt Farewell Ceremony for Retiring Teachers and Former Employee

Malkangiri: A retirement felicitation ceremony was held yesterday at Venkata Palem Ashram School in Kalimela Block, organized by the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Class, and Minority Welfare Department of Malkangiri district. The event was organized to honor a headmaster and a former employee of the Mangal Division who had recently retired.

According to reports, Laxmidhar Swain, the Headmaster of Motu Ashram School, retired on April 30. Along with him, Keshab Chandra Raul, the former employee of the Mangal Division and Chief Clerk of the Kalimela Block Office, also retired.

The event was graced by Malkangiri District Welfare Officer Srinibas Achari as the chief guest. Other attendees included Lal Bahadur Mallik, Budra Kabasi, Raghunath Nayak, Basanta Kumar Mahapatra, Bijay Kumar Patra, and several other district officials.

Sourya Ranjan Nayak, Mangal Extension Officer of Kalimela, chaired the event. Ramakanta Behera, Headmaster of Koikonda Ashram School, introduced the guests and gave the vote of thanks.

Both retirees were honored with mementos during the ceremony.
