Nabarangpur, Dec, 22: At the Mandei Lok Mahotsav Parishree Fair, a total of 400 stalls have been set up, including SHG stalls, commercial stalls, departmental stalls, and food stalls. Products from Nabarangpur are drawing major attention, such as maize pitha, maize laddus, and various types of traditional sweets.
Handicraft stalls featuring terracotta items, paddy crafts, and tribal ornaments are attracting customers. More than ten artisans are showcasing beautiful Kashmiri shawls, Kotpad handloom products, and Sambalpuri sarees, which are drawing large crowds.
Mayurbhanj’s bamboo chicken and Nabarangpur’s mushroom pakoda are popular delicacies, while traditional food items prepared by various SHGs are especially appealing and delicious. According to reports, the total sales on 12 December amounted to Rs 1.87 crore.
