Malkangiri,14th Aug 2025: In Malkangiri district’s Mathili block, in the Pujariguda area of Meka Gram Panchayat, a man named Sanu Gouda died after falling into a leach pit located near a tube well.
Upon receiving the news, Mathili Block BJD President Sadashiv Pujari rushed to the spot and informed the police. The police arrived and took Sanu Gouda to the Mathili Sub-Divisional Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Hearing the news, social worker Sadashiv Pujari, former sarpanch Ramchandra Guruteli, local ward member Ganga Nayak, Pitabas Guruteli, along with village elders like Khagapati Guruteli, attended the scene. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family members.
