Malkangiri , 3rd Nov 2025: Mr. Mose Khara, son of Komulu Khara from Kantaguda village, Ralegada Panchayat, under Chitrakonda block, has brought pride to the district. A first-year +2 Arts student at Balimela Unnati Higher Secondary School, Mose showcased outstanding performance in the State-Level Sports Competition held from October 11 to October 14, 2025, at Hanuman Jew High School, Railway Padia, Charampa, Bhadrak district.
Due to his excellent performance, he has been selected to represent Odisha at the National-Level Volleyball Championship, which will be held from November 11 to November 15, 2025, in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.
In recognition of his achievement, District Education Officer (DEO) Chittaranjan Panigrahi, Assistant DEO Manjulata Bhois, Assistant DEO Bhagirath Behera, District Physical Education Officer Karsik Chandra Behera, Senior Assistant to DEO Ananta Charan Behera, Junior Assistant P. Bhanu Prakash Rao, and District Midday Meal Program Officer Arun Pattnaik congratulated Mose by presenting him with a bouquet and wishing him a bright future.
Mose achieved this success under the guidance and training of sports teachers Dillip Kumar Patel (Government High School, Kartanpalli), Sania Madkami, and Biju Pattnaik (Govindapalli Higher Secondary School).
His accomplishment has been widely praised by the sports community across Malkangiri district, who view him as an inspiration for young athletes from the region.
