Malkangiri, 9th Aug 2025: As per the guidelines of the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) under letter no. 2055/8944/14/07, Block-Level Monitoring Committees and a District-Level Monitoring Committee have been formed in various blocks of Malkangiri district to inspect the weight of school bags carried by students.
In this context, today the District Education Officer and Project Coordinator, Chittaranjan Panigrahi, visited Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Modern English Medium School to check the weight of school bags as well as the body weight of the students.
After the inspection, he provided necessary instructions to the school authorities regarding the appropriate weight of school bags.
Accompanying him during the visit were District Programme Office Planner, Bijayalaxmi Choudhury, and District Education Coordinator, Shesashankar Mahalik.
