Malkangiri BJP Organizes ‘Mishran Parva’ to Strengthen Party Unity

Malkangiri, 6th Oct 2025:  A “Mishran Parva” (Joining Ceremony) was organized at the local BJP office in Malkangiri by the district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Prominent leaders who attended the event included:

  • Nityananda Gond, Minister of Mass Education
  • Ramesh Chandra Majhi, MP from Nabarangpur
  • Narsingha Madkami, MLA
  • Ashok Parida, District BJP President
  • Domphru Sisha, former MLA of Chitrakonda, among others.

In this program, several key leaders from BJD (Biju Janata Dal) officially joined the BJP, citing dissatisfaction with the current state of BJD in the district. They expressed growing confidence in the leadership and direction of the BJP.

The BJP leadership claimed that more leaders and workers from other political parties, especially Congress and BJD, are expected to switch allegiance to BJP in the coming days, as the party continues to strengthen its position in the district.

Minister Nityananda Gond stated that today’s joining of these leaders would significantly boost BJP’s presence and influence in Malkangiri. He added that as BJP continues to gain ground, it is being seen as the only viable alternative capable of governing Odisha in the near future.

The event reflects a strategic consolidation of political support ahead of upcoming elections, further hinting at a shift in the political landscape of Malkangiri.
