Major Push: State Highways to Be Upgraded to Four Lanes

Bhubaneswar,  Feb, 14:  A survey will be csonducted to expand NH-55 into a six-lane road.
A survey will be undertaken for six-laning of the Cuttack–Sambalpur National Highway (NH-55).
Instructions have been issued to take expeditious steps to upgrade all State Highways to four lanes.
Public Works Department Minister Prithviraj Harichandan reviewed various ongoing development projects of the department.
An Outer Ring Road will be developed for Cuttack city on the lines of the Bhubaneswar city expansion plan.
