Major Changes Announced in Ticket Cancellation Rules to Benefit Passengers Across the Country

Bhubaneswar, Mar, 31:  Changes in Ticket Cancellation Rules
How much refund will you get  if you cancel your ticket?
Within 8 hours of the journey: No refund
Between 8 to 24 hours before the journey: 50% refund
Between 24 to 72 hours before the journey: 75% refund
More than 72 hours before the journey: Maximum refund
Other key changes:
Reservation charts will now be prepared 8 hours before departure
Current reservation will be available up to 8 hours before the train departs
Boarding point can be changed up to 30 minutes before departure
These new rules will be implemented **in phases starting from April
