Kotpad: A grand Akhanda Dhwani Jongya (continuous chanting ritual) was conducted at the Allekh Temple located in Bahargada Sahi of Kotpad in Koraput district. Devotees from various Allekh monasteries across Kotpad and the entire Koraput district were invited to participate in this spiritual event.
Numerous Mahima Dharma followers attended the Jongya carrying traditional musical instruments like ghini, mridanga, and dhol. The event was organized under the leadership of the Kotpad Allekh Mahima Sangha’s managing committee, with prominent figures such as President Ganesh ponda Vice President Brundaban Mahankud, and members like M. Rao, Devi Prasad Nayak, Ramachandra Bhakta, Manoj Bishoi playing key roles in ensuring its success.
The program began today with a city procession at 11 AM, accompanied by vibrant decorations. This was followed by afternoon rituals as part of the yajna. Devotees from all over the Kotpad region attended the event, participated in the Allekh Yajna, and partook in the sacred Anna Prasada (blessed food).
