Kotpad, Feb, 7:The 92nd death anniversary of Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das was observed atSiddhartha English Medium School in Kotpad.
On this occasion, floral tributes were offered to the statue of Madhubabu on the school premises, and students were informed about his life and contributions. They were told that Madhubabu is not only a matter of pride for us but also a symbol of self-respect for the Odia community.
The girl students sang the song “Tuma Pari Chhota Pilatie” written by Madhubabu. The Managing Committee Secretary, Pankaj Kumar Patra, attended the program and paid heartfelt tributes to Madhubabu in the presence of teachers and students. He also advised the students to draw inspiration from Madhubabu’s ideals.
Among others present were President Basanta Behera, Vice-President Rashmi Nayak, Anita Pani, Bijay Mishra, Shankar Rao, Santoshi Patra, Bharati Choudhury, Amita Jena, along with all the teachers, who shared information about Madhubabu with the students.
