Bhubaneswar, Dec, 30: The Madhubabu Memorial Museum will be constructed by the Department of Odia Language, Literature, and Culture on the campus of Shailabala Women’s College.
In 1952, for the promotion of women’s education in Odisha, Shailabala Das donated her father, Utkal Gourab Madhusudan Das’s residence, to be used for running the women’s college. At present, a part of the self-governed Shailabala Women’s College campus—where Madhusudan Das’s head office, meeting hall, and residential office were located during his time—has been selected by the government to be converted into the Madhubabu Memorial Museum.
