Jharsuguda : A MacDrill program was recently conducted at the UltraTech Cement plant located in Dhutra, under Kirmira block of Jharsuguda district.
On this occasion, Unit Head of UltraTech Cement, Purushottam Bemuri, attended as the chief guest. Other dignitaries present included Swarup Jena, Deputy Director (Factory and HR) from Sambalpur, Pitambar Prushet, Head of HR, Debanand Biswal, Chief Administrative Officer, Jagadishwar Reddy, SI of Bagdihi Police Station responsible for security and technical aspects, Dasarath Tudu from steam operations, and journalist Ajay Kumar Sharma, along with several assistant staff members of the plant.
The attending guests emphasized that in the unfortunate event of a fire or any such emergency at the plant, the first and foremost responsibility is to ensure safety. Immediate communication should be made with the fire department and health services, followed by necessary actions.
