Umerkote– A meeting was held at Green Colony in Umerkote Katara, Nabarangpur district, involving private company agricultural workers. Following this meeting, a new organization was officially formed under the name ‘Maa Pendani Sabuj Sena Sangha’.
The aim of this organization is to carry out various community-based initiatives in the future and to support private agricultural workers across the district by addressing their needs and challenges.
In the newly formed committee, Nashan Khara was appointed as Joint Secretary, and Sushant Sahu was nominated as Treasurer.
The Advisory Committee included Bishwabihari Dash, Jagabandhu Mishra, Sameer R. Biswas, Shailendra Biswas, and Shehbaz Khan.
With unanimous agreement, Santosh Kumar Sahu was elected as President, Rakesh Mistry as Vice-President, and Tuna Das as Secretary.

Saroj Harijan was appointed for Umerkote,
Indrajit Barakandaj for Raighar,
Pabitra Matia and Chandrashekhar Dash for Jharigaon and Chanda handi, respectively.
Around 50 private agricultural workers from Umerkote, Raighar, Jharigaon, and Chanda handi regions were present at the meeting.
