Maa Bhandargharani Rangatuli Artists’ Association Formed in Nabarangpur

Papadahandi: A meeting of Rangatuli artists from Nabarangpur district was held at the premises of Garbharai Temple in Nuakot Panchayat, near Maidolpur in Papadahandi block. In today’s meeting, a new organization named Maa Bhandargharani Rangatuli Artists’ Association was formed with all the members.

In this meeting, Muralidhar Bhushan was appointed as the President, Trapati Jena as the Vice President, Subrata Patra as the Secretary, along with Jitendra Harijan, Debiprasad Mahapatra, Prashant Dangari, Yudhishthir Babu, and Dambaru Dharu as the Treasurer. The advisory committee included Basant Benia and Subas Bhatt. More than 100 members were nominated for the association.

The meeting discussed several key issues, including:

Providing pensions to all Rangatuli artists in the district.

Ensuring that all government projects in the district employ local Rangatuli artists.

Offering insurance coverage for all members.

Registering the association with the district administration in the near future.

Strengthening the association and ensuring collective welfare.

The President concluded the meeting by emphasizing the association’s commitment to standing by its members through all circumstances and working towards making the organization stronger in the future.
