Nabarangpur, Jan 30:Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti was observed today near the SBI Bank premises in Nabarangpur with floral tributes and ceremonial worship offered at the statue of Netaji.
On this occasion, Chief Guest District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain and Guest of Honour Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Bishwajit Barman paid homage to Netaji. They described Subhas Chandra Bose as an immortal son of India, a महान freedom fighter, a true leader of the masses, a symbol of indomitable courage and patriotism. They stated that Netaji continues to inspire the youth of today and motivates them to serve the motherland with dedication.
Marking his 129th birth anniversary, students and teachers of Board Upper Primary School and Saraswati Gyan Mandir gathered to raise slogans in praise of Netaji. They also discussed his life, powerful slogans, and his significant role in the armed freedom struggle.
The program was conducted under the supervision of District Information and Public Relations Officer Manoj Behera. District Welfare Officer Rabindra Palaka Laka, DWO Prabhat Pattnaik, other government officials, and media representatives were present on the occasion.
