Khordha: The summer heatwave continues across the state. The government is placing strong emphasis on uninterrupted 24-hour electricity supply and resolving drinking water issues. In this context, Chilika MLA and Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan reviewed various projects related to drinking water supply, new borewell digging, and repair works in different areas of the Chilika constituency.
On Friday, the minister held a meeting at his official residence in Bhubaneswar, where he discussed the progress of these projects with departmental officials. He directed that immediate steps be taken to resolve drinking water issues and emphasized completing all ongoing projects within the stipulated timeline.
The minister stated that ensuring the supply of clean drinking water remains a top priority for the state government. To achieve this, significant investments are being made in drinking water supply projects.
