Bhubaneswar, 12th Aug 2025: A comprehensive policy will be introduced for the systematic regulation and management of temples across the state. Along with this, emphasis will also be placed on the development and preservation of temples. For this purpose, the management systems of prominent states like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu will be studied and the best policies will be formulated for Odisha, said Law Minister Pruthviraj Harichandan.
Today, during a meeting held in the Law Department conference room, the minister stated that steps will be taken regarding the systematic regulation, development, and preservation of temples.
Officials from the department will conduct field visits in different regions to collect information about the condition of old temples in the state.
