Tentulikhunti, 12th Sept 2025: The work to widen the main road between Nabarangpur and Indravati is currently underway. While the process has already begun from Nabarangpur side, several stretches of land in Indravati are under encroachment.
Starting Monday, the Tentulikhunti Tehsil administration, in collaboration with road construction authorities and the contractor agency, began identifying the necessary land. As part of this effort, the area from Auliguma Square to the main office of Indravati has already been marked on both sides of the road.
Sources confirm that the administration will soon issue notices to remove unauthorized encroachments. The road has been marked with a total width of 66 feet — 33 feet on each side from the center of the main road.
Present during the land identification process were revenue officials Sumitra Behera, Santosh Garada, Santosh Mahankud, Balaram Harijan, Umakanta Behera, and other staff members from the Tentulikhunti Tehsil office.
