Koraput: The CM Trophy Under-15 Football Tournament has officially kicked off at the Koraput Sports Complex. Koraput MLA Raghuram Mach attended the event as the Chief Guest, while Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra was present as the Guest of Honour. In the inaugural match, the Kotpad team defeated the Jeypore team with a resounding score of 6-0.
On Tuesday, the second day of the tournament, Koraput Tehsildar Deputy Syed Sabir Shah, Collector Sournavita Majhi, Dharanidhar Behera, Jyoti Prakash Sethi, and District Sports Officer Subrata Kumar Sahu were present and officially launched the day’s events. A thrilling match was witnessed between Champapadar FC and Jagatara FC, with Jagatara FC emerging victorious with a 3-2 win.
To encourage the players, tehsildars from all 14 blocks of Koraput district, along with Additional Tehsildars, were present on the second day of the tournament.
