Baipariguda, 16th July 2025: Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra made a surprise visit to the Gopal High School hostel located at Ramgiri in Baipariguda block. During the visit, he personally inspected the midday meal arrangements provided to the hostel students by visiting the cooking area. However, he found that the food was being cooked in the open, without a proper kitchen facility.
Seeing this, the MLA stood there for some time and, upon learning that the hostel lacks a kitchen, he assured that a proper cooking facility would be constructed at the site. He interacted with the students, inquired about the quality of the cooked food, and advised them to study hard and become good individuals.
The MLA also held discussions with the headmistress regarding various issues the school was facing. It came to light that the school lacks proper classroom infrastructure, and the headmistress informed him that no sports materials were being provided by the government due to the school being a block grant institution.
Upon learning about these problems, the MLA promised to provide additional classrooms for Gopal High School and ensure that sports equipment is made available for the physical development of the students.
