16th July 2025, Kotpad: The World Youth Skills Day celebration was successfully organized on Tuesday, 15th July 2025 at the premises of Kotpad Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI). The event was conducted under the direct supervision of Mrs. Saudamini Singh, Principal of the institute.
On this special occasion, the Hon’ble Chairperson of the Kotpad Notified Area Council, Mr. M. Shankar Rao, attended as the Chief Guest. He inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp and felicitated the students.
In their addresses, both Mr. Rao and Mrs. Singh emphasized the importance of advanced education, acquiring scientific knowledge and skills, and empowering youth through AI (Artificial Intelligence) and digital literacy. They elaborated on how these areas can lead to meaningful youth empowerment.
As part of the celebration, certificates and mementos were awarded to meritorious students who had participated in various cultural competitions.
A Skill Exhibition, organized by the students, was also visited and appreciated by the guests. The creative skills displayed by the students were praised.
Additionally, a tree plantation drive was carried out within the institute campus as part of the day’s events.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Principal Mrs. Singh, followed by the formal closing of the session.
