Kotpad, 19th July 2025: The World Youth Skills Day was celebrated with enthusiasm on Tuesday at the Kotpad Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI). The event was organized under the supervision of Principal Smt. Saudamini Singh.
NAC Chairman M. Shankar Rao attended as the chief guest. He inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp and addressed the students, highlighting the importance of skill development in today’s world.
During the celebration, students who had participated in various cultural competitions were felicitated with certificates of merit and mementos. A skill exhibition, organized by the students, drew much appreciation from the guests for showcasing innovative and practical craftsmanship.
As part of the event, a plantation drive was also carried out in the institute premises to promote environmental awareness. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Principal Smt. Singh, who praised the students for their active participation and creativity.
