On November 5, the KOTPAD Bar Association warmly welcomed Hon’ble District Judge Pradeep Kumar Mahonto with a bouquet and presented a memorandum. The memorandum requested the establishment of a Circuit Family Court or the delegation of powers to the JMFC Court to handle cases under Section 125 of the CrPC, aimed at providing justice for destitute women in the Kotpad area.
The association also appealed for the immediate opening of a Senior Division Court, including a Sub-Judge Court, in Kotpad. Hon’ble District Judge Mahonto assured that he would take the necessary steps to address these requests.
