Puri, Jan, 16: Mirabai Panigrahi, popularly known as the “Koshali Queen” and hailing from Khuntpali village of Padampur subdivision, was honoured at Shreekhetra Puri.
A state-level cultural programme on Jagannath culture was organized at Badasanta Math in Puri. The programme was arranged by Siddhartha Shankar Swain with the support of Mahant Divyanand Das Maharaj. Mirabai Panigrahi attended the event as a guest of honour and expressed her views on the occasion.
On this occasion, she was formally felicitated in recognition of her contributions. It is noteworthy that she has earlier been honoured by many organizations for her literary creations and contributions.
