Raighar, Feb, 17: By profession, Manas Ranjan Panda is a Panchayat Extension Officer (PEO), but his passion is acting. Through performances in several films, he has come into the spotlight. He is a resident of Maidalpur block in Nabarangpur district.
He has played lead roles in short films such as Kabadi, Rai, Kalabati, Mukti, Gharani, Facebook Live, Rakshi, Samparka, Micha Sapna, and Blogger Kaveri, earning wide appreciation. While working as a PEO in Parichipara Panchayat under Raighar block, he has continued to pursue acting with strong interest.
Earlier too, he acted in many small and medium short films and remained in discussion. His first Koraputia film Noni I Love You won audience praise for his impressive performance and marked the beginning of his film career. He has also acted in many music albums and short films.
Another of his films, Kabadi, has been released in cinema halls across Odisha, and audiences have been highly impressed by his acting. Though his home is in Maidalpur of Nabarangpur district, he is currently residing in Umarkote and serving as a PEO in Raighar block.
In the short film Raj, his character kept viewers emotionally engaged from beginning to end, and many audience members were moved to tears by his performance. Through his work in Koraputia films, he has built a distinct identity for himself in the regional film industry of Koraput and Odisha.
