Koraput, 3rd Nov 2025: A special press meet was organized at the Koraput Press Club by the Koraput Lawyers’ Association. During this meeting, detailed information was shared regarding the upcoming State-Level Lawyers’ Cricket Tournament.
It was announced that this annual cricket festival will be held in Koraput district from November 2 to 10. Sixteen lawyers’ teams from various districts across the state are expected to participate. The association stated that the tournament aims to strengthen friendship, unity, and sportsmanship among lawyers in Odisha.
Present at the press meet were senior lawyers, including Prabhat Mahapatra, President of the Koraput Lawyers’ Association, and other notable members. They shared details about the tournament and its significance.
All preparations for the event are now in the final stages. The inaugural ceremony will be held solemnly at the Koraput city stadium, with participation from district and state-level officials, judges, and invited guests.
The association invited all residents of Koraput and sports enthusiasts to come, watch the games, and encourage the players. At the end of the press meet, the association expressed gratitude to all media personnel and journalists for their support and cooperation in promoting the cricket festival.
