Koraput: Koraput district has ranked first in Odisha for the lowest pass percentage in the matriculation exams, with a pass rate of 92.83%, placing it at the bottom among all districts. In contrast, underdeveloped districts like Gajapati recorded a pass rate of 99.35%, topping the state rankings.
Out of 16,061 students from 274 high schools in Koraput district, 15,876 students appeared for the exam. 185 students were absent, and 2 students were caught cheating. Among the students who passed, only 12 secured the A1 grade. The distribution of other grades is as follows:
A2: 64 students
B1: 178 students
B2: 751 students
C: 2,937 students
D: 6,356 students
E: 4,440 students
A total of 1,136 students failed. Among those who passed, 7,416 were boys and 7,322 were girls, making the total number of pass-outs 14,738.
Among the A1-grade achievers, Divyashree Daibishakti from Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Sarada Vihar, Jeypore emerged as the district topper with 564 marks (94%).

Among the 12 A1-grade holders, only 3 students are from Borigumma Government High School, while the rest are from various Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandirs.
