Koraput Railway Station: Alternative Arrangements Made for Passenger Convenience

Koraput: Due to ongoing doubling work on the Koraput railway route, technical operations are currently in progress. As a result, the railway authorities have decided that no trains will enter Koraput Railway Station until June 19. During this period, all trains will run directly from Dumuriput via EK Cabin to Manabar Station, bypassing Koraput.

All passenger trains scheduled to stop at or depart from Koraput will now stop at Manabar Station instead.
Manabar (Station Code: MSL) is approximately 5 kilometers away from Koraput Railway Station.

Passengers are advised to board or deboard trains at Manabar Station during this period. To facilitate the journey between Koraput and Manabar, the railway authorities have arranged free shuttle bus service. However, this service will only be available to passengers holding valid train tickets. Those without a ticket will not be permitted to use the bus facility.

Until train operations resume at Koraput station, the free transportation service will continue.

All passenger trains traveling from Rayagada towards Jagdalpur will operate via Dumuriput – EK Cabin – Manabar Station, ensuring uninterrupted service despite the Koraput station closure.
